Meet Joshua M. Paticoff, M.D.

Dr. Paticoff was born and raised in Rockland County, New York.  He attended the University of Washington and concurrently earned a B.A. degree in Chinese Language and Literature and a B.S. with Honors and Distinction in Microbiology.  As an undergraduate he completed an honor’s thesis in mucosal immunology and continued his research after graduation as a junior investigator in a private biotech company in Portland, Oregon.  Shortly thereafter, he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel to pursue his medical degree and earned his M.D. at the Sackler School of Medicine.  He returned to New York to complete an internship in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Thereafter, he went on to Boston, Massachusetts where he completed his subspecialty training fellowship in pain management at the prestigious Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School serving as Chief Fellow.  He is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
